FREE ENERGY EFFICIENCY HOME REPAIRS

A new federally funded program is being provided by the City of League City and BKR Consulting to help residents with home repairs. This program is designed to maximize each homeowner’s energy consumption by implementing cost savings measures to their home. Repairs will include but not limited to: CFL light bulbs, Energy Star ceiling fans, window units, refrigerators, solar screens, attic insulation, and solar powered attic fans. This is a first come first serve program. Funds are limited.

Qualifications for program are as follows:

• Applicants must be the homeowner and occupant of the residence (no rental properties)
• Valid ID is required for everyone in the home
• Verification of income for everyone 18 years or older in the home (current IRS tax return 1040) or Social Security award letter
• Copy of warranty deed for home to show proof of ownership, and an electric bill (doesn’t have to be most recent).
Applications for the program will be available at the front desk of City Hall, 300 W. Walker, League City, TX 77573. BKR Consulting will also be located at the Civic Center located at 400 W.
